NW Rain Solutions was built on the belief that rainwater is one of the most overlooked resources in the Pacific Northwest. For years, the company has helped clients capture, manage, and reuse water more effectively—first through hands-on system work and increasingly through consulting, inspections, and design support that help larger and more complex projects succeed.
As the industry has matured, so has our role. Today, we focus on the specialized expertise that clients need most: evaluating systems, designing smarter approaches, supporting permitting and coordination, and helping projects meet performance and compliance goals.
We promote more resilient, sustainable development through practical rainwater harvesting, stormwater management, and water reuse solutions that serve people, properties, and communities.

NW Rain Solutions is led by CJ Huxford, a rainwater specialist with expertise in stormwater management, potable systems, and code-compliant design. His background in research, policy, and industry leadership helps clients move forward with clarity and confidence at every stage of a project.
Background
B.A. in Planning and Environmental Policy, with an emphasis in Risk Communication, from Western Washington University.
Research and publication experience focused on disaster impacts to infrastructure, especially electricity and water systems, in Washington State, San Diego, and Japan
Experience working with Whatcom County committees on Low Impact Development (LID) methods, including on-site rainwater harvesting and stormwater landscaping
